What is a Dutch Oven?

Dutch Ovens are simple, large cooking pots or metal boxes that are heated by placing them close to hot coals. Historically they were made from brick or earthenware.

The term ‘Dutch Oven’ is also used to refer to a bedroom technique for tormenting your partner with your own fart gas. The practice involves releasing the offensive bum-gas under the covers and then wafting the warm, stinky odour in the direction of your sleeping partner. The aim is to create the effect of opening a warm oven door – only the aroma is a lot less pleasant.
